The Feb 6th game vs Fremont Ross has been rescheduled for Saturday Feb 13th at 10 am at the Ice House.

Brue Nominated for Style Award 
On Monday's Ice Check the Hockey Show on BCSN Goaltender Chris Brue was nominated for a style award, also mentioned was Ottawa Hills' 2008-09 Captain Mickey Reams, last years winner of the award. Show can be seen on VOD.

OH Ends Winless Streak
Saturday morning the Green Bears ended a winless streak that had haunted them for the past ten games. Led by a four goal performance from Rolf Sandberg, the Bears rolled over Cinncinatti Elder 12-3.

Bears' Newest Member Tallies an Assist in First Game
The Green Bears' newest member Aaron Intrater makes his way on to the scoresheet with an assist in his first game. Unfortunately, The Bears did not have enough in the tank to make it past the Blue Devils. Bad bounces and break downs in the defensive zone over shadowed the big hits and bang-bang passing plays as OH is dealt its first league loss of the season 8-4.

Outdoor Tournament a Success
While it wasn't Fenway, Ottawa Park still provided an exciting back drop for the OHHS Holiday Tournament. Even with the chilly temps the conditions made for some great hockey. Many of the games were televised by BCSN, and can be found on VOD.

Green Bears Prepare for Outdoor Tournament
Old time hockey returns as OH prepares to compete in multiple games at Ottawa Park’s outdoor ice arena. The tournament will be held December 28th-30th, and will pit the Green Bears against Fremont Ross, Central Catholic and Whitmer high schools. This is not the first time the Bears have competed in the outdoor venue. Last season OH faced-off against Lake in the first annual Winter Classic. The Bears are hoping this tournament will help prepare them for their Winter Classic rematch with Lake in February. (see schedule)

Ottawa Hills Loses to Findlay JV 6-2
Goals by Jacob Engler and Tom Jamieson were not enough, as the Green Bears lose to the Trojans JV team 6-2.

Bears Humbled in a Mid-week Scrimmage vs Adrian
Tuesday night saw the Bears in Adrian for a rare mid-week scrimmage. While OH showed up focused the Bulldogs were too much to handle. Final score Adrian 11, OH 0.

Gliding Stars Charity Game Sees OH Finish in a 3-3 Tie
Saturday night saw the Green Bears raising both money and eyebrows, as they come back from an early 3-0 deficit to tie the Northview JV 3-3. Proceeds from the game went to support the Gliding Stars Adaptive Ice Skating Program.
